What to Expect

Whether you are a beginner or more advanced learner, MOSAIC offers tailored courses to suit your proficiency level.
The program runs for 16 weeks across two terms, featuring a variety of language courses including English, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, and cultural appreciation classes. Classes are available both online via Zoom and face-to-face at the MOSAIC Multicultural Centre.
This program aims to empower students socially and culturally, enhancing communication skills for everyday life, work, and community participation.
Activity Details
- Duration: Monday, 9 February 2026 to Monday, 29 June 2026
- Terms: Term 1 (9 February to 10 April), Term 2 (4 May to 29 June)
- Course formats: Online Zoom sessions and face-to-face classes

Each course has specific days and times, generally between 9:30 AM and 4:45 PM on weekdays, catering to different proficiency levels and interests.
Location and Access
The face-to-face courses are held at the MOSAIC Multicultural Centre located at 7 Victor Street, Chatswood, NSW 2067. The centre is accessible by public transport and offers a welcoming environment for learners.
Online courses are conducted via Zoom, allowing flexible participation from home.
Enrolment requires proof of residence or rate payment within the Willoughby local government area for residents, with enrolment opening earlier for locals than non-residents.

- Enrolment opens at 9am on Monday, 24 November 2025 for Willoughby City Council residents or ratepayers, and on Monday, 1 December 2025 for non-local residents.
- Proof of residence or rate payment may be requested.
- Course fees apply: $54 per course per semester for students, and $44 for seniors.
- Some courses require additional materials costs (e.g., flower making materials).
- Classes are designed to be inclusive and supportive, catering to a wide range of ages and backgrounds.
