Join Wellbeing Practitioner Sally de Gruchy in this fun and interactive workshop designed especially for children aged 0 to 5 years and their parents or carers. This engaging session encourages singing, stretching, and sensory play through music and movement, creating a wonderful bonding experience for families.

What to Expect

In each session, children and their carers will sing along to a mix of new and familiar songs while playing with a variety of props and instruments such as shakers, rhythm sticks, scarves, bean bags, parachutes, and bubbles. The activities are designed to stimulate the senses and promote mindfulness in a playful environment.

Activity Details

The workshop runs monthly on the third Monday of each month from 10:00 to 11:30. The upcoming sessions include May 19th, June 16th, July 21st, September 15th, October 20th, November 17th, and December 15th, 2025. Each session requires booking in advance as places are strictly limited to ensure a quality experience for all participants.

Location and Access

The sessions take place at the Margaret Martin Library, located on Level 1 of the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre, Belmore Road, Randwick. The venue is accessible and welcoming for families with young children.

Important Information

Bookings are essential and must be made for each session you wish to attend. Latecomers will not be admitted to maintain the flow of the workshop. Children must be supervised by a parent or carer at all times. The event is free but only open to library members; membership is free and can be obtained online or at any branch. Please inform the organisers of any allergies as there will be time for snacks and socialising after the session.

This event is free of charge. Bookings open approximately one month prior to each session and are made through Eventbrite. If your preferred session is not visible, it means it is fully booked.
