Music, Movement and Mindfulness with Sally (for ages 0-5 years)

Join Wellbeing Practitioner Sally de Gruchy in this delightful workshop designed specifically for children aged 0 to 5 years and their parents or carers. This engaging session combines music, movement, and mindfulness to create a joyful and sensory-rich experience that supports early childhood development and family bonding.

What to Expect

Each session invites you and your child to sing along to a variety of songs, both new and familiar, while exploring movement and mindfulness activities. You'll have the opportunity to play with fun props and instruments such as shakers, rhythm sticks, scarves, bean bags, parachutes, and bubbles, all designed to stimulate your child's senses and encourage active participation.

Activity Details

The workshop runs monthly on the third Monday of each month from 10:00 to 11:30. Upcoming dates include May 19th, June 16th, July 21st, September 15th, October 20th, November 17th, and December 15th, 2025. Each session is carefully structured to ensure a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment for young children and their families.

Location and Access

Sessions take place at the Margaret Martin Library, located on Level 1 of the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre on Belmore Road, Randwick. The venue is accessible and welcoming, providing a comfortable space for families to gather and participate in the activities.

Important Information

Bookings are essential and must be made for each session you wish to attend. Places are limited to ensure quality participation, and latecomers will not be admitted to maintain the flow of the session. Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer, and only those with valid tickets can attend. Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to start on time. If you have any allergies, please inform the organizers as there will be time after the session for snacks and socializing.

Booking and Prices

This event is free of charge, but booking is required through Eventbrite. Bookings open approximately one month before each session and fill quickly. If your preferred date is not available, it means the session is fully booked. Membership to the library is required but free and can be obtained online or at any branch. If you cannot attend, please cancel your booking promptly to allow others to participate.
