What to Expect
Celebrate one of the oldest continuous living cultures on earth with a special NAIDOC StoryTime event designed for families and children. This engaging session offers a unique opportunity to learn about First Nations cultures and histories in a warm, welcoming environment.
Before the StoryTime, enjoy a traditional Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, setting a respectful and meaningful tone for the event. The program is hands-on and interactive, perfect for toddlers and school-aged children alike.
This event is part of the broader NAIDOC celebrations at the Ethel Warren Bullsbrook Community Centre, featuring many other fun and free activities for the whole family.
Activity Details
The StoryTime session runs for 30 minutes, from 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. It is suitable for all ages including babies and toddlers, making it an ideal morning outing during the school holidays.
Spaces are limited, so booking is essential to secure your spot. Each attendee requires a ticket, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all participants.
Please note that photography and videography may take place during the event for promotional use by the City of Swan and event organizers.
