Experience a vibrant celebration of Aboriginal culture during NAIDOC Week 2026 at the City of Vincent. This event offers engaging activities for children and adults alike, including traditional storytelling, art workshops, and music performances. It's a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with the rich heritage of the Noongar people.
Enjoy hands-on experiences such as drawing animal tracks, learning Noongar animal names, and creating Aboriginal-inspired art. The week also features a smudge stick workshop and a singing workshop with renowned Noongar artist Della Rae Morrison.
All activities are designed to be family-friendly and inclusive, with light refreshments provided to keep everyone energized.

Each event requires booking and is free of charge. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and priority is given to City of Vincent residents.
All events take place at the Vincent Community Centre, 99 Loftus Street, Leederville, except the library event held at the City of Vincent Library. The venues are accessible and family-friendly, located in the heart of Leederville.
Parking and public transport options are available nearby, making it easy for families to attend. The community centre provides a welcoming environment for children aged 3 and up.
Bookings are essential for all events to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Photographs and videos may be taken during the events for promotional purposes.
Only City of Vincent residents may attend the Ninni Ngingyaans event, and priority is given to residents for other events. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Light refreshments will be provided at each event to keep participants refreshed.
All events are free to attend. Tickets must be booked in advance online to secure your place.
Please book one ticket per person attending. Early booking is recommended due to limited spaces and priority given to local residents.
