Volunteers will be planting 1,000 native shrubs and groundcovers along Kilmore Creek, helping Mitchell Shire reach an incredible milestone of 100,000 plants since 2001.
The event is free to attend and suitable for families with school-aged children. Please bring gardening gloves, a small hand trowel, and a water bottle. Wear sturdy shoes and clothing appropriate for outdoor planting on sloping or uneven ground.
The planting session runs from 10:00 to 12:00 on Sunday, 26 July 2026. Registration is required to ensure enough equipment and staff support.
