What to Expect
Experience a slow, sensory immersion in nature tailored for women whose lives have been touched by cancer, whether through diagnosis, treatment, recovery, or supporting a loved one. This walk is not about fitness but about breathing deeply, reconnecting with yourself, and simply being present in the moment.
The walks are small and intentional, inspired by the practice of Shinrin-yoku or forest bathing, which is an evidence-based method promoting calm and clarity through nature immersion. You are welcome to bring a support person, and all activities and reflection moments during the walk are optional.
This is a nurturing environment designed to provide peace and wellbeing, surrounded by the soothing sights and sounds of Centennial Park.
