Join a dynamic improvisation workshop designed for students in Years 7 to 9, led by professional artists during the school holidays.


Experience the thrill of improvisation where every moment on stage is a surprise. This workshop invites young teens to explore the fundamentals of improv, including character creation, storytelling, and the art of comedy.

What to Expect

Participants will engage in lively exercises that build confidence and creativity. The week culminates in an improvised performance showcasing the skills developed. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to express themselves and develop teamwork in a supportive environment.

Activity Details

The workshop runs from Monday to Friday during the school holidays, with daily sessions from 09:30 to 15:30. Aftercare is available until 17:00 Monday to Thursday for an additional fee. A one-off booking fee applies to all purchases.

Location and Access

Held at ATYP, Pier 2/3, 13A Hickson Road, Dawes Point, NSW, 2000, on Eora Country. The venue is accessible and located in a central area, making it convenient for families in Sydney.

Important Information

Early bird pricing is available until Tuesday 10th June. The final improvised performance will take place at 15:00 on Friday 18th July. This workshop is ideal for students in Years 7 to 9 who are eager to develop their drama skills.

Booking and Prices

Early bird price is $475, increasing to $500 after 10th June. Aftercare costs an additional $60 for Monday to Thursday. Bookings require a one-off fee and can be made online through the ATYP website.
