Once Upon a Jar invites children aged 5 to 8 into a magical world of storytelling and imagination. This free event lets kids shape the narrative through a choose-your-own-adventure experience led by Stephen Sheehan, bringing scents and stories to life in a fun and engaging way.
Children will meet Stephen, who arrives with a suitcase full of mysterious jars from birthdays long past. Each jar holds a unique smell and sparks countless story possibilities. Kids get to influence the story's direction with their ideas before embarking on a treasure hunt to discover the most mysterious scent of all. This interactive performance encourages creativity and sensory exploration.
This event is designed specifically for young children aged 5 to 8 years. It is a free event with limited capacity, so early arrival is recommended to secure a spot. The performance lasts approximately 45 minutes and is devised and performed by Stephen Sheehan, produced by the acclaimed Patch Theatre company from South Australia.
