Experience a vibrant day filled with live rock music, family-friendly activities, and a celebration of Leichhardt Oval's rich sporting history. This unique event brings Australian rock legends and local favourites together on the famous turf for the very first time.
Enjoy thrilling live performances from The Angels, The Superjesus, LAHGO, and Good Pash, alongside exciting Pro Wrestling Australia matches and a special appearance by rugby league legend Wayne Pearce with Oz Icons.
Food trucks and bars will offer a variety of delicious treats and refreshments, while the Inner West Rugby League Museum and Wests Tigers activation zone provide engaging experiences for all ages.
The event kicks off at 12:30pm with ticket scanning and gates opening, followed by a lineup of live music and wrestling matches until 6:30pm. Highlights include:
- Oz Icons featuring Wayne Pearce and Mike Whitney
- Performances by Good Pash, LAHGO, The Superjesus, and The Angels
- Pro Wrestling Australia tag team, singles, and trios matches
- AFL Play Skills Zone with fun footy activities
- Inner West Rugby League Museum open for exploration
This free event invites families to enjoy a day of entertainment, sport, and community spirit on the iconic Leichhardt Oval.
Held at Leichhardt Oval, 68 Mary Street, Lilyfield NSW 2040, the venue is accessible by public transport with nearby light rail and bus services. Limited parking is available, including accessible parking spaces allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bike racks are located near Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre, and accessible matting and viewing areas are provided for wheelchair users. The event encourages sustainable travel options to ease congestion.
Please note the Mary Street vehicle entrance will be closed from 11:30am to 7:00pm on event day, and increased pedestrian activity is expected.
Entry is free but tickets are required; children aged 2 and under enter free without a ticket. Companion Cards are accepted for free companion tickets.
Strict conditions apply including no outside alcohol, no smoking or vaping except in designated areas, and no prams on the oval or hill areas. Food and drink are available onsite, and small personal umbrellas and picnic rugs are permitted.
Safety and security measures include bag inspections and refusal of entry for intoxicated or disorderly persons. Restricted items such as glass containers, weapons, and large banners are prohibited.
Re-entry is allowed with a stamp, and all children must be supervised by an adult.
This is a free community event with no cost to attend. Tickets were required and are now sold out. If unable to attend, ticket holders are encouraged to contact Oztix to release their place to others.
No advance booking is necessary for onsite activities like the Rugby Museum or AFL Play Skills Zone. Food and beverage purchases are available at the event.
