The open day runs from 10:00 to 21:00 on Thursday, 30 July 2026, packed with scheduled activities:
- 10:30 to 10:50: Rhymetime for ages 0-2, combining rhymes, movement, music, and singing.
- From 10:00 onwards: Badge making and retro gaming station.
- 11:30 to 12:00: Storytime for ages 3-5, fostering a love of reading and social interaction.
- 12:00 to 15:00: Makerspace drop-in stations featuring Ozobots, little bits, microscopes, and Makey-Makey.
- 12:00 to 15:00 and 18:00 to 21:00: Ask a Maker live demos of 3D printing and laser cutting.
- 15:30 to 16:30: Maker and Creator wind tube activity for ages 8-12.
- 16:30 to 17:00: Additional Makerspace drop-in stations.
- 17:30 to 19:00: Reel Reads film screening of "Storm Boy" (1h 28m).
- 19:00 to 20:45: Reel Reads film screening of "Wuthering Heights" (1h 45m).
