Our Beat 2026 invites young creatives aged 14 to 25 to immerse themselves in a dynamic afternoon of music, dance, and spoken word performances. This free event celebrates the energy and diversity of Dandenong's youth, offering a welcoming space to express artistic talents and build confidence.
Participants can enjoy open mic sessions and live performances that showcase emerging musicians, rappers, dancers, and spoken word artists. The event fosters community connection and collaboration in a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere.
Whether you're a performer or an audience member, expect an engaging experience filled with creativity and cultural expression.
The event runs on Saturday, 14 March 2026, from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. Workshops begin at 2:30pm and conclude at 4:00pm, featuring hands-on sessions including beatmaking, MPC, DJ skills, and a live art workshop led by @artbytdr.
Open mic and live performances take place from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, allowing participants to showcase their talents in a supportive environment. Registration is encouraged to secure a spot in workshops and performances.
