What to Expect

These screenings showcase a remarkable collection of recordings featuring local people sharing their memories of Sunshine Coast history and events.
Each week offers a new selection of videos drawn from the Cultural Heritage and Heritage Library collections, covering diverse themes such as First Nations and South Sea Island histories, business, agriculture, celebrations, education, environment, family life, and more.
Drop in for a few minutes or stay for the full hour. Plenty of tiered seating is available in the library foyer, making it a comfortable experience for all.
Activity Details
The video screenings take place every Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, starting 2026-05-06 and continuing weekly until 2026-06-24. No bookings are required, but you may choose to book to receive reminder emails.
Please note that some recordings may be silent with subtitles, depending on the original format and ambient conditions in the library at the time. The videos provide a rich insight into the Sunshine Coast's cultural heritage.
