Paint a Silk Scarf offers a delightful opportunity to explore the vibrant world of silk painting. Join Helen Moon in the charming town of Gumeracha to experiment with colours and techniques that bring silk scarves to life. The workshop runs on 24 March 2026 from 13:00 to 15:00. It is held at the Torrens Valley Community Centre, located at 45 Albert St, Gumeracha SA 5233. The cost is $50 per participant, and tickets can be booked online.

The Torrens Valley Community Centre is part of the Gumeracha Community Hub, which also includes the town hall and library. Parking is plentiful with designated spots for electric vehicles and disabled parking available.
The venue is wheelchair accessible with ramps and disabled toilets on site. Facilities include a kitchen with a microwave and kettle, baby change tables, and well-lit parking areas for safety. The community centre is LGBTQI+ friendly and supports dementia-friendly initiatives.
Please note that if an Extreme or Catastrophic Fire Danger Rating is declared for the Mt Lofty Ranges, the community centre will close and the workshop will be cancelled or rescheduled. Check current fire danger ratings before attending.
Wear comfortable clothing suitable for painting and bring a torch or phone light if attending in darker hours. The centre encourages a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants.
