What to Expect
Immerse your family in the joy of crafting traditional Chinese lanterns from bamboo, paper, and glue. This engaging workshop invites children aged 5 and up to explore their creativity while learning about cultural art forms. Adult supervision is recommended for younger children aged 5 to 10 to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
You will be provided with all the necessary materials, so just bring your enthusiasm and creativity. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with your kids while making something beautiful and meaningful.
The workshop culminates in a chance to showcase your handmade lanterns at the P(ART)icipate: Arts and Culture Festival parade, adding a festive and communal spirit to your creative efforts.

The event is scheduled for Friday, 27 March 2026, with three sessions available to fit your family’s timetable: 10:00-12:00, 13:00-15:00, and 16:00-18:00. Each session offers a hands-on experience guided by Lewis Horne, ensuring participants receive expert instruction and support.
