What to Expect
Starting July 1, 2026, Port Phillip Library Service will update its payment policies. American Express (AMEX) cards will no longer be accepted for any payments, including printing services. This change is due to increased transaction fees and aligns with Reserve Bank of Australia guidance.
Library users will need to use alternative credit or debit cards for all transactions. The library remains committed to providing accessible and affordable services to the community.
