What to Expect
Discover a vibrant and educational program designed especially for your 3 to 5 year old. PHIVE Pre-school Pioneers offers a unique blend of arts & crafts, cooking, and sensory-based activities that encourage creativity and a love for nature. Each session is crafted to engage your child’s imagination while nurturing healthy eating habits and fine motor skills.
Led by experienced educators from Messy Makers, your child will enjoy themed story times, hands-on workshops, and interactive crafts that make learning fun and memorable. This program is perfect for parents wanting to bond with their little ones in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Expect a joyful journey where your child will explore summer safety, backyard bugs, science experiments, and much more, all while developing important skills in a playful setting.
Activity Details
The program runs every Friday from 6th February to 27th March 2026, with sessions from 11:15 to 12:00. Each week focuses on a different theme such as healthy eating, summer safety, science week with volcanic eruptions, cooking bliss balls, and learning letters and numbers through craft.
The activities are designed to stimulate creativity, fine motor skills, and early literacy and numeracy. Parents are required to stay with their children, making it a shared experience that strengthens family bonds.
The cost is $15 per session or $80 for all 8 weeks, offering a saving of $40. Booking early is recommended to secure your spot.
Location and Access
The sessions take place at PHIVE, located at 5 Parramatta Square, Dharug Country, Maker Space 1, Level 3. On 20th February, the session will be held in Maker Space 2, Level 3.
PHIVE is a fully accessible and inclusive space, ensuring comfort and ease for all families. Parent rooms are available on-site for your convenience.
The venue is situated in the heart of Parramatta, easily accessible by public transport and with parking nearby. The welcoming environment encourages families to feel at home while their children explore and learn.
Important Information
This program is suitable for children aged 3 to 5 years old. Parents or guardians must remain with their children during the sessions to provide support and supervision.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the program to start promptly. As activities can get messy, bringing a change of clothes for your child is recommended.
While the program strives to accommodate all children, refunds are not available due to the nature of the sessions. PHIVE acknowledges the Dharug people as the traditional custodians of the land and pays respect to their elders past, present, and future.
