What to Expect
Embark on an exciting journey with Pirate Pete and his trusty companion Paddy the Parrot as they explore the world of recycling and sustainability. This interactive adventure is designed to engage children and families in learning how to make better environmental choices in a fun and memorable way.
Children will discover new ways to be more sustainable, helping Pirate Pete continue his pirate life while protecting the environment. This event encourages curiosity and responsibility towards our planet, making it perfect for young learners eager to make a difference.
Expect a lively and educational session filled with storytelling, hands-on activities, and plenty of opportunities for children to participate and ask questions.
Activity Details
This workshop runs for one hour, including a 10-minute arrival and a 10-minute pack-up time. It is suitable for children accompanied by their guardians, who must remain on the library premises during the program.
The event is free to attend but requires registration to secure a spot. Each participant is limited to one registration per day for programs with multiple sessions.
Please note that the facilitators maintain a respectful and positive environment; inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the program.

Important Information
Guardians must be at least 16 years old and remain on-site for the duration of the program if children are under 12 years.

In case of illness or COVID-19 symptoms, attendees are asked to refrain from attending and notify the library.
Workshops may be rescheduled or cancelled due to low enrolment or unforeseen circumstances, with efforts made to inform participants promptly.
