Play in the Park is a delightful early childhood program designed to help your child develop social, literacy, and emotional skills through engaging play, rhymes, and stories. These sessions are run by two friendly and professional library staff members who create a welcoming environment for families.
You can expect a variety of play resources and craft activities that encourage creativity and learning. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with other local families while your little ones enjoy fun and educational activities.
Bring along a hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle to keep comfortable during the sessions.
This program is suitable for children aged 0-5 years and their parents or caregivers. It runs weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays during school term time, from 10:30 to 12:00 noon.
No registration or booking is required, so you can simply drop in when it suits your schedule. Please note that photography and videography may take place for marketing and promotional purposes by the City of Swan and event organizers.
The sessions are held at two venues:
- Ethel Warren Community Centre, 3 Maroubra Avenue, Bullsbrook WA 6084
- Dayton Family Hub, 300 Arthur Street, Dayton WA 6055
