What to Expect

This playgroup offers a wonderful opportunity for parents and carers to meet, connect, and share their parenting journeys while their little ones enjoy social and play activities. It's designed for children from newborns up to 4 years old, ensuring age-appropriate engagement and fun.

Parents or guardians actively participate alongside their children, creating a nurturing and interactive environment. Remember to bring healthy snacks and drinks for your child to keep energy levels up during the sessions.

The sessions run weekly over eight weeks, providing consistent support and social interaction for both children and adults.

Activity Details

The playgroup runs every Tuesday from 10:00 to 12:00, starting on 29 July 2025 and concluding on 16 September 2025. Each session lasts two hours, allowing plenty of time for play, learning, and socialising.

The cost is very affordable at $3 per session per family or $24 for the entire term, making it accessible for most families. Payment can be made upfront via TryBooking or on a pay-as-you-go basis at the centre using Eftpos.

All participants are required to complete an enrolment form to ensure a smooth and safe experience for everyone involved.

Location and Access

The playgroup is held at West Sunshine Community Centre, located at 25 Kermeen Street, Sunshine West VIC 3020, on Wurundjeri Country. The centre is a welcoming community hub with easy access and facilities suitable for young children and their families.

Parking and public transport options are available nearby, making it convenient for families from the local area to attend.

The venue is designed to be child-friendly and safe, providing a comfortable space for both play and socialising.

Important Information

Parents and carers must stay with their children throughout the session, actively engaging in the activities. The playgroup encourages bringing your own healthy snacks and drinks to support your child's needs.

Due to the nature of the group, spaces may be limited, so early booking is recommended to secure your place.
