Come along to a morning filled with fun and engaging activities designed for young children and their families. These playgroups offer a wonderful opportunity to connect with other parents and discover local support services tailored to families and children.
Enjoy a relaxed and welcoming environment where children can play and learn through games and creative activities. Parents will have the chance to meet Playgroup Victoria representatives who will share valuable information about joining or starting a playgroup. Additionally, learn about various Council programs and community support services available to families.
- Free entry with no bookings required.
- Suitable for families with young children.
- Sessions run from 10:00 to 12:00.
- Locations alternate between Murrumbeena Family Centre and Carnegie Children’s Multipurpose Room.
The playgroups take place at two accessible venues: Murrumbeena Family Centre located at 105 Murrumbeena Road, Murrumbeena, and the Carnegie Children’s Multipurpose Room on Shepparson Avenue, Carnegie. Both venues are family-friendly and easy to reach by public transport or car.
Please note that Glen Eira Town Hall is undergoing entry renovations from February to May which may affect access to some Council services. Follow onsite signage for guidance. The playgroups themselves are unaffected and continue as scheduled.
