What to Expect

Preschool Storytime at Lindfield Library is designed to nurture early literacy skills in children aged 3 to 5 years. Each session includes engaging stories, lively songs, fun language games, and a simple craft activity that encourages creativity and learning.

This year, the program is expanding to include special Science Storytime sessions and Sensory Friendly sessions, making it even more inclusive and exciting for young learners. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate and support their children throughout the activities.

An adult must supervise children at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Activity Details

Sessions run weekly on Thursdays from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, starting from 6 February 2025 and continuing through to 11 December 2025 with some breaks in between. The consistent timing helps families plan their week around this enriching activity.

The program is free of charge and no booking is required, making it easy for busy parents to drop in with their preschoolers. The activities are tailored to support language development and social interaction in a friendly library environment.

The storytime sessions take place at Lindfield Library, located at 265 Pacific Highway, Lindfield, NSW 2070. The library is easily accessible by public transport and has parking options nearby.
