Dive beneath the waves into a vibrant underwater world filled with colour, connection, and unapologetic self-expression. This event is designed especially for LGBTQIA+ young people aged 15 to 24, offering a safe and welcoming space to celebrate identity and community.
Enjoy a night of fun with a live DJ and dancefloor, underwater-themed photo booths, and a supervised quiet space for moments when things feel overwhelming. The Fabulous Feud queer game show returns with plenty of laughter and drama, alongside lip-sync battles and more underwater surprises.
Free food and drinks will be provided, catering to various dietary needs including gluten-free, vegan, and lactose intolerant options. Art stations, tabletop games, and stalls featuring queer artists and community organisations add to the vibrant atmosphere.
This event is a drug and alcohol-free queer formal held at the Cockburn Youth Centre. Attendees are encouraged to dress in colourful, creative costumes inspired by underwater creatures and themes such as mermaids, jellyfish, krakens, and more.
Registration is essential to help organisers plan for dietary, accessibility, and support needs. Fabulous Feud, the signature queer game show, invites participants to engage with fun and interactive challenges, with answers displayed on the big screen.
Queer artists, makers, and community organisations are welcome to apply for free stalls to showcase their work and connect with attendees. This is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate diversity and creativity in a supportive environment.
The event takes place at Cockburn Youth Centre, located at 25 Wentworth Parade, Success WA 6164. The venue is equipped with accessible toilets, parking including ACROD spaces, lifts, and other accessibility features.
Facilities include first-aid, bicycle parking racks, free parking, public toilets, sanitising stations, and water refill stations to ensure comfort and convenience for all attendees.
The venue’s map includes additional accessibility features such as in-map voice and accessible colour choices, enhancing the experience for those who require them.
This is a free event but registration is mandatory to ensure adequate planning for all attendees’ needs. The event is strictly drug and alcohol-free to maintain a safe and inclusive environment.
Attendees can wear anything from gowns and suits to cosplay, costumes, casual outfits, or everyday clothes—there is no dress code or pressure, just a celebration of authentic self-expression.

Entry to the Pride and Progress Ball is completely free. However, registration is essential to secure your place and help organisers plan for food, accessibility, and support services.
