What to Expect
Celebrate Pride Month in a fun and creative way with the Pride Penguin Pebble Painting event designed especially for 12 to 17-year-olds. Inspired by penguin power couples from the LGBTQIA+ community, participants will paint pebbles to gift to their favourite person or keep as a personal treasure. This activity encourages self-expression and community connection in a welcoming environment.
You will have the opportunity to paint two pebbles: one for someone special in your life (including yourself!) and one to contribute to the library’s collection. Whether you book in advance or drop in, you’re sure to enjoy this unique artistic experience.
Activity Details
This event is hosted by Georges River Libraries and is free to attend. All materials and equipment needed for pebble painting will be provided, so just bring your creativity and enthusiasm. The session runs for one hour, providing a relaxed, supportive space to explore your artistic side.
Parents or guardians of participants under 16 will need to provide contact details at booking. Arriving on time is important as late arrivals may lose their place to those on the standby list. If you cannot attend, please cancel your booking at least three hours before the event to help others attend.
