Celebrate Plastic Free July with a fun and practical workshop where you can make your own reusable produce bags. This hands-on activity is perfect for families looking to reduce plastic waste and make a positive environmental impact. No sewing experience is needed, making it accessible for all skill levels.
Join the community during The Community Grocer’s 1st anniversary celebrations and craft simple bags ideal for carrying fruits and vegetables from supermarkets, local markets, or the Community Grocer. These bags help reduce the use of single-use plastic bags that harm our environment.
By participating, you’ll learn practical ways to reduce waste in your daily life while enjoying a creative and engaging activity with your children.
The workshop runs on Friday, 10 July 2026, from 09:00 to 12:00. You can drop in anytime during these hours to create your bags at your own pace. All materials are supplied, so just bring your enthusiasm and creativity.
