This engaging course is tailored for primary producers, small-scale growers, and lifestyle landholders eager to improve their property management skills. You’ll join like-minded property owners to share ideas, learn practical tips, and gain valuable insights into sustainable land management.
The course covers essential topics such as soils, pastures, stock management, biodiversity on farms, fire preparedness, waterway management, weed control, and planning regulations. You will also receive an A1 laminated map of your property and other helpful resources.
Six months after the course, a follow-up session will be held to check progress and provide ongoing support, ensuring you continue to benefit from what you’ve learned.
The course runs on Saturday 21 March from 09:30 to 16:00 as a virtual event, followed by a site location session on Thursday 23 April from 18:30 to 20:00 (online webinar) and another site location session on Saturday 2 May from 09:30 to 16:00.
A minimum property size of 4 hectares is required to register, and the cost is $150 per property, payable upon booking. A maximum of two people per property can attend.
