Dive into an exciting Dungeons & Dragons adventure designed exclusively for LGBTQIA+ young people aged 12 to 25. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, this event offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the magic of role-playing. Experienced LGBTIQA+ Dungeon Masters will guide players through campaigns tailored to all skill levels.
Snacks will be provided to keep energy levels high, and a quiet, low sensory space will be available for those who need a calm retreat. The venue is wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets, and Auslan interpreters can be arranged on request to ensure everyone can participate comfortably.
Adult supervision is recommended for young people under 13 years old, making this a safe and supportive event for families and individuals alike.
The main event takes place on Saturday, 16th May 2026, from 14:00 to 17:30 at the Vincent Community Centre, located at 99 Loftus Street, Leederville. This free event celebrates inclusion and creativity, encouraging young people to explore storytelling, teamwork, and imagination through Dungeons & Dragons.
Additionally, there is a Character Creation session for newcomers or those wanting help crafting their hero. This session is scheduled for Monday, 11th May 2026, from 16:30 to 17:30 at the Freedom Centre/The Y, 60A Frame Court, Leederville. Registration is essential for this preparatory workshop.
The main event is held at the Vincent Community Centre, 99 Loftus Street, Leederville, a fully accessible venue with ample parking options including 3-hour free parking and ACROD parking on site. The venue supports wheelchair access and has accessible toilets to accommodate all attendees.
The Character Creation session is conveniently located nearby at the Freedom Centre/The Y, 60A Frame Court, Leederville, making it easy for participants to attend both events.
This event is designed to be a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ youth aged 12-25. Experienced staff from YPN and the Freedom Centre will be present to support participants and ensure a respectful environment.
A quiet, low sensory space will be available for anyone needing a break from the main activity. Auslan interpreters are available on request to support attendees with hearing impairments.
Adult supervision is recommended for participants under 13 years old to ensure their safety and comfort throughout the event.
Both the Queer DnD adventure and the Character Creation session are completely free of charge. While the main event on 16th May does not require registration, the Character Creation session on 11th May requires essential registration to secure a spot.
