Queerzines are more than just paper and ink—they’re powerful portals for self-expression, connection, and celebration. Whether you’re figuring yourself out, finding your voice, or simply curious about the world, this event offers a welcoming space to explore and create.
Join us at Rosetta’s cosy bookstore event space in Maleny for a hands-on zine-making workshop. You’ll have the chance to chat, share stories, laugh, and craft your very own Queerzine that reflects your unique, awesome self.
No prior experience is needed—just bring your beautiful brain and open heart. This is a safe and inclusive environment where creativity and identity flourish.
The workshop is split into two sessions: one for 15-17 year olds and another for adults aged 18 and above. Each session is designed to foster creativity and community through guided zine-making activities.
Participants will learn the basics of zine creation, including layout, design, and storytelling techniques. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop new skills while connecting with others who share similar interests.
The event encourages participants to express themselves freely and celebrate diversity in a supportive setting.
