What to Expect
Quiet Hour offers a unique chance to enjoy Town Hall Gallery exhibitions with reduced sensory stimuli and fewer visitors. This welcoming environment is designed to support those who benefit from a quieter, calmer setting, including people with dementia, autism, disability, and chronic illness.
During your visit, exhibition sounds and music in customer service areas will be turned off. There will be no PA announcements except for emergencies, and a dedicated quiet area will be available nearby. Staff members are on hand to provide additional support if needed, and headphones are available to borrow.
This inclusive event welcomes all ages and requires no bookings, making it easy for families to attend and enjoy art together.
Activity Details
Quiet Hour is part of the Art+ program at Town Hall Gallery, which introduces creative ways to experience art through artist talks, film screenings, workshops, and live music. These weekly sessions run from 9:00 to 10:00 AM every Thursday from June 12 to August 28, 2025.
