Experience a meaningful week dedicated to reconciliation, featuring storytelling, film screenings, and workshops that highlight Aboriginal culture and history. These events are designed for all ages and provide an opportunity for families to connect with Indigenous stories and traditions.
Enjoy Dreamtime stories, powerful documentaries, and hands-on workshops that foster understanding and respect for the Noongar nation and broader Aboriginal heritage. Light refreshments and cultural cuisine are offered to enhance the welcoming atmosphere.
Priority is given to City of Vincent residents, ensuring the local community can participate fully in these enriching experiences.
- Wirlomin Noongar Language & Stories: Thursday 28 May 2026, 17:30–18:30 at Library Lounge, 99 Loftus Street, Leederville.
- Genocide in the Wildflower State - Film Screening: Tuesday 2 June 2026, doors open at 18:00 at Luna Cinema, 155 Oxford Street, Leederville.
- Bush Flower Essence Workshop (sold out): Wednesday 3 June 2026, 17:30–19:00 at Community Centre, 99 Loftus Street, Leederville.
Each event requires booking, with photographs and videos potentially taken. Attendees should book one ticket per person.
Events take place at accessible venues in Leederville, including the Library Lounge and Luna Cinema, both centrally located at 99 Loftus Street and 155 Oxford Street respectively. The Community Centre is also at 99 Loftus Street.
