Repair Lab Melville offers a fantastic opportunity for families to breathe new life into their broken household items with the help of skilled volunteers. This free drop-in event encourages sustainability and waste reduction by repairing items instead of discarding them.
What to Expect
At Repair Lab, volunteers will assist with repairing a variety of household items including small electrical appliances, textiles, shoes, furniture, bicycles, and more. While not all items may be repairable, volunteers will provide advice and do their best using the tools and skills available. The event also features a Buy Nothing Market where you can drop off or take away items for free, promoting community sharing and reuse.
