What to Expect
Bring your broken household items to Repair Lab Melville where skilled volunteers will try to fix small electrical appliances, textiles, shoes, furniture, bicycles, and more. This free drop-in event encourages you to learn repair skills by chatting with volunteers as they work on your items.
You can expect a friendly and supportive environment focused on sustainability and reducing landfill waste. While not all items can be repaired, volunteers will provide advice if a repair is not possible.
Alongside repairs, a Buy Nothing Market operates where you can drop off items or take some away for free. Please remember to take back any unclaimed items when you leave.
