Discover the joy of giving your broken household items a new lease on life with the Repair Lab Melville. This free community event is perfect for families wanting to reduce waste and learn repair skills together. Volunteers will assist with a variety of items including small electrical appliances, textiles, shoes, furniture, bicycles, and more.
You'll find a warm, welcoming atmosphere where you can chat with volunteer repairers and gain handy tips to maintain your belongings. While not every item can be fixed, the volunteers will do their best to help and provide advice if a repair isn't possible.
Also featured is a Buy Nothing Market, where you can drop off items you no longer need or take something away for free, encouraging a sustainable sharing community.
