Rhyme Time is a delightful weekly session designed to nurture your child's language, body awareness, motor skills, and imagination through engaging rhymes, music, and books. Perfect for toddlers and preschoolers aged 1-5 years, these sessions create a joyful environment where children can learn and play together.
Each 30-minute gathering is filled with stories, songs, and rhymes that foster early language development, literacy, and numeracy skills. Parents and carers will enjoy watching their children interact and grow in confidence while having fun.
This is a wonderful opportunity to bond with your child and meet other families in the community, all within the welcoming setting of the Williams Landing Library Lounge.
Rhyme Time sessions run every Wednesday during the school term, starting at 11:30 and finishing at 12:00. The program is free of charge and designed specifically for children aged between 1 and 5 years.
The activities include:
- Interactive rhymes and songs
- Storytelling to spark imagination
- Movement and motor skills exercises
Parents are encouraged to participate alongside their children to enhance the experience and support learning.
The sessions take place at the Williams Landing Library Lounge, located at 1/101 Overton Rd, Williams Landing VIC 3027. The venue is easily accessible by public transport and offers a comfortable, child-friendly environment.
Parking is available nearby, and the library provides a safe space for families to enjoy the activities. The lounge is designed to accommodate young children and their carers, ensuring a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
To attend, children must be aged between 1 and 5 years. The sessions run weekly on Wednesdays during the school term.
Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in and ensure your child is ready to participate. The program encourages active involvement from both children and their carers.
