Experience the rich creativity of the Adelaide Hills community through the SALA Festival's vibrant exhibition, 'Adelaide Hills Abundance.' This event highlights the region's stunning flora, fauna, landscapes, and food through diverse artworks in various mediums. It's a wonderful opportunity for families to engage with local artists and enjoy a culturally rich evening.
The opening night features a welcoming atmosphere where you can meet the artists, savor delicious Persian cuisine, and participate in a fun creative workshop led by Rebecca Prince. Kids and adults alike can try their hand at making stamps to create small prints of animals and native birds, fostering a hands-on artistic experience.
Soft drinks, tea, and coffee will be available, and wine can be purchased from Ten Miles East. Don't miss the chance to vote for the People's Choice Award, celebrating the community's favorite artwork. A children's art competition for ages 5 to 15 will also be showcased, with prizes awarded by popular vote.
The official opening starts at 18:00 on 31 July 2026, with the exhibition running from 3 August to 10 September 2026. Exhibition hours are Monday to Thursday, 09:00 to 15:00. This family-friendly event is free to attend and welcomes all ages.
The children's art competition entries will be displayed throughout the exhibition period, encouraging young artists to participate and gain recognition. The People's Choice Award winner and children's competition prize recipients will be announced at the exhibition's conclusion.

In the event of Extreme or Catastrophic Fire Danger Ratings for the Mt Lofty Ranges, the community centre will close, and all programs will be cancelled without notice. Paid fees will be reimbursed or sessions rescheduled accordingly.
