Discover a world of creativity and learning with Saturday Create, a free family-friendly series designed for children aged 8-12. Each session offers exciting hands-on activities like robotics, circuits, coding, and 3D printing that spark curiosity and inspire young creators.

These workshops are perfect for parents looking to engage their children in STEM learning while having fun together. The sessions encourage teamwork and exploration, making Saturdays something to look forward to.

Activity Details

Each workshop runs from 14:00 to 15:30 on selected Saturdays throughout 2025. Activities vary monthly, including Ozobots, Chemistry experiments, Digital Story creation, Coding challenges, Engineering robots, Digital music, Electronics, Physics, 3D Modelling, and Stop Motion animation.

Workshops are designed for children aged 8-12 and require adult accompaniment to support participation and ensure safety. Sessions within the same month repeat the same activity, so booking one per month is recommended.

Location and Access

The workshops take place at The Learning Space, City of Canada Bay Council. This accessible venue is family-friendly and easy to reach by public transport or car.

Parking and directions are available on the City of Canada Bay website, ensuring a hassle-free visit. The location is safe and welcoming, perfect for children and their parents.

Participants are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early to settle in and prepare for the session.

Important Information

Booking is essential due to limited capacity, and families are asked to book only one session per month to allow more participants to join.

Children must be accompanied by an adult who can participate and support them during the activities. The sessions are carefully designed to ensure safety and enjoyment for all.

Please note that all workshops within the same month cover the same activity, so choose dates that best fit your schedule.

These workshops are completely free of charge, making them an excellent opportunity for families to engage in quality STEM learning without cost.
