Activity Details

This free event is held every Saturday (excluding public holidays) at Malabar Community Library in Matraville. Sessions run from 10:30 am to 11:00 am. No bookings are necessary, simply arrive a little early to secure a spot.

Our Storytime sessions are designed to be interactive and engaging, with a mix of stories, songs, and rhymes. We encourage children to participate and have fun while developing their early literacy skills. It's a great way to introduce your child to the joy of reading and the magic of stories.

Each week, we explore different themes and stories, ensuring a fresh and exciting experience for returning visitors. We also incorporate elements of play and sensory exploration to cater to different learning styles. Our aim is to create a positive and enriching experience for all participants.

Location and Access

Malabar Community Library is located at 1203 Anzac Parade, Matraville. It's easily accessible by public transport and there is street parking available nearby. The library is a welcoming and accessible space for families with young children.

The library offers a range of facilities, including baby change facilities and a designated children's area. We strive to create a comfortable and inclusive environment for all visitors. Our friendly staff are always on hand to assist with any queries or needs.

Important Information

No bookings are required for Saturday Storytime. Please leave prams at home due to limited space. Parental supervision is required for all children attending the session.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to start on time. Due to the safety and enjoyment of participants, latecomers may not be admitted to the room after the session has begun.
