What to Expect

We also incorporate action rhymes and songs to get everyone moving and grooving. These activities help children develop their language skills, coordination, and social interaction.

Activity Details

Saturday Storytime is designed to be a fun and educational experience for preschoolers. The sessions are approximately 30 minutes long, providing a perfect opportunity to introduce young children to the joys of reading and storytelling.

Our storytellers use a variety of techniques to keep children engaged, including puppets, props, and musical instruments. We also encourage children to participate in the storytelling by asking questions and making predictions.

Location and Access

The Saturday Storytime sessions are held at the Malabar Community Library, conveniently located at 1203 Anzac Parade, Matraville. The library is easily accessible by public transport and there is ample parking available nearby.

The library offers a welcoming and accessible environment for families with young children. There are comfortable seating areas, baby changing facilities, and a dedicated children's area.

Important Information

No bookings are required for Saturday Storytime. Simply arrive a few minutes early to secure a spot.

Please leave prams at home as space is limited. All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
