Activity Details

Saturday Storytime is designed to enhance early literacy skills in children aged 0-5. Through storytelling, rhyming, and interactive activities, we aim to develop language skills, spark imagination, and foster a love of reading.

Location and Access

Saturday Storytime takes place at the Malabar Community Library, located at 1203 Anzac Parade, Matraville. The library is easily accessible by public transport and offers ample parking for those driving.

The library provides a comfortable and welcoming space for families with young children. There are dedicated areas for prams and strollers, as well as baby-changing facilities.

Please note that space for prams inside the storytime room is limited, so we kindly request that you leave them at home or in the designated pram parking area.

Important Information

No bookings are required for Saturday Storytime. Simply arrive a few minutes before the session starts to secure a spot.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver throughout the session. Parental supervision is essential to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants.

Please be aware that latecomers may not be admitted to the room once the session has begun, to minimize disruption to the other children and the flow of activities.
