Saturday Storytime is a delightful weekly event designed especially for children aged 0 to 5 years. It offers a warm and welcoming environment where little ones can enjoy engaging stories, sing along to rhymes, and explore early literacy in a fun and interactive way. Parents and carers will appreciate the relaxed atmosphere that encourages learning through play and shared reading.

The event is casual and welcoming, with no need to book in advance, making it easy for busy parents to drop in and join the fun.
The Storytime sessions run every Saturday from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, continuing weekly until December 26, 2026. Sessions will not be held on public holidays. Each half-hour session includes story reading, singing, and interactive activities tailored to young children’s developmental stages.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure the session can start on time and to settle your child comfortably. Note that late arrivals may not be admitted to avoid disruption.
Children must be supervised by a parent or carer at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
The event takes place at Malabar Community Library, located at 1203 Anzac Parade, Matraville. The library is easily accessible and offers a friendly community space for families.
