What to Expect
Saturday Storytime is a delightful early literacy session designed especially for children aged 0 to 5 years. Each week, little ones will enjoy engaging story readings, lively rhymes, and opportunities to learn new things in a welcoming environment. This is a perfect way to introduce your child to the joy of books and language.
The sessions are informal and relaxed, encouraging children and their parents or carers to participate together. It’s a wonderful chance to bond while fostering early literacy skills in a fun and interactive way.
No bookings are required, making it easy for families to drop in and enjoy the experience without any hassle.

Parents are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes early to ensure the session starts on time. Please note that latecomers may not be admitted to maintain a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Location and Access
The event takes place at Malabar Community Library, located at 1203 Anzac Parade, Matraville. The library is committed to accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring all families can participate comfortably.
Due to limited space, parents are kindly asked to leave prams at home. If you have any specific access requirements, the library staff are happy to assist if contacted in advance.

All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian throughout the session. The library may record audio and/or video during events for promotional purposes; attendance implies consent to these recordings unless otherwise discussed.
