Get ready for a fun and artistic school holiday activity designed especially for kids and young people aged 10 and above. This workshop invites your child to unleash their creativity by painting their very own ceramic vase. It’s a wonderful opportunity to design a personalized piece that can brighten up any room or serve as a thoughtful handmade gift.
The vases are intended as decorative items, perfect for displaying dried flowers. Please note, they are not suitable for holding water as this may cause the paint to peel. However, you can easily protect your masterpiece by applying a water-based sealant at home.
This engaging session encourages artistic expression and provides a relaxed environment where children can explore colors and designs, making it a perfect way to spend part of the school holidays.
- Suitable for ages 10 and above.
- Participants will paint a ceramic vase to take home.
- The activity is designed to foster creativity and hands-on learning.
- Please bring your imagination and a willingness to get creative!
The session runs for two hours, giving plenty of time to complete your artwork and enjoy the process without feeling rushed. It’s a great chance for your child to develop new skills and create something unique.
The workshop will be held at 4 Crescent Drive, Norton Summit SA 5136, Australia, at The Summit Community Centre. The centre is open Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and is closed on Fridays and public holidays.
Norton Summit is a charming location in the Adelaide Hills, easily accessible by car. Parking is available nearby, making drop-off and pick-up convenient for busy parents.
Please be aware that when an 'Extreme 75+' or Catastrophic Fire Danger Rating is declared for the Mt Lofty Ranges, the Adelaide Hills Council Community Centres will be closed, and all classes and programs will be cancelled without notice. Any payments made will be reimbursed or the course rescheduled.
