The foray will take place on Wednesday, 15 July 2026, from 9:30 to 11:30 in the morning. Participants will explore the Norah Head Nature Trail, focusing on the soil and leaf litter to uncover the fascinating fungi species that thrive there. This hands-on experience is designed to be educational and fun, encouraging curiosity about the natural world.
Location and Access
The event meets at the Norah Head Lighthouse carpark, located on Bush Street, Norah Head NSW 2263. The site is accessible by car, and parking is available at the lighthouse carpark. The trail involves walking through forested areas, so appropriate footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended.
