Get ready for a fun-filled school holiday adventure at South Eveleigh with our hands-on craft workshop inspired by the area's rich locomotive heritage. This event invites children to dive into a world of creativity and imagination, perfect for young minds eager to explore and create.
Children will become little conductors as they design their own Moving Train, complete with moving wheels, cotton-ball steam, and a magnetic controller. They can then test their creations on a train track to earn a special ticket and sticker. Another exciting activity includes crafting a Vintage Train Clock, where kids decorate clocks with movable hands and set a boarding time on a train ticket. Plus, locomotive-themed colouring-in pages offer even more creative fun.
This immersive workshop runs over two days: Thursday 1 October from 10:00 to 12:00 and Friday 2 October from 10:00 to 13:00. It is designed to spark imagination and creativity while celebrating South Eveleigh’s railway history. Each child ticket holder will also receive a $10 voucher redeemable at The Grounds Coffee Factory, adding extra value to the experience.
