What to Expect

Your child will collaborate with peers to build a maze and navigate it using block-based coding with the Sphero Bolt robot. No prior experience is needed as our friendly facilitators guide participants through each step, ensuring a hands-on learning adventure that sparks creativity and problem-solving skills.

This workshop lasts for two hours, providing ample time for kids to explore coding concepts and robotics in a makerspace setting. It is designed specifically for children aged 9 to 12 years, making it an ideal activity for school-aged kids looking to try something new and exciting during the holidays.

The event takes place at Darling Square Library, Levels 1 and 2, The Exchange, 1 Little Pier Street, Haymarket NSW 2000, in the Makerspace on level 1. The venue is accessible and welcoming, with staff available to assist with any special access or communication needs upon request.

Bookings are essential and must be made in advance. Cancellations can be made up to 7 days before the event for a refund; cancellations within 7 days will not be refunded.
