What to Expect

You will learn about typical employment routes and the various supports available to assist young people with disabilities in securing valued jobs. The session encourages family involvement, recognizing the vital role families play in career development.
Families are invited to complete a short survey before attending to help tailor the workshop content to their needs. Separate sessions for young people and service providers will be held later, ensuring everyone receives focused support.
Activity Details
The workshop is delivered by Resourcing Inclusive Communities, a trusted provider in disability employment support. It will take place on 20 May 2026 from 15:00 to 17:00.
This is a free event, making it accessible to all families interested in supporting their young person’s transition from school to work. Registration is required via the Inner West Vocational Support Network.

The workshop will be held at Concord Oval, Canadian Exiles Room, located in the City of Canada Bay local government area in Sydney.
