Unleash your teen's creativity in this engaging school holiday workshop designed especially for young artists aged 12 to 17. This hands-on session invites participants to explore the art of screen printing using drawing fluid and screen filler, bringing their favorite animal designs to life.
Participants will design a stencil of their favorite animal and learn the techniques to transfer their design onto calico fabric and a T-shirt. The workshop encourages creativity and skill development in a fun, supportive environment. Teens should bring their own lunch and a light-colored plain cotton T-shirt to print on.
The workshop runs for three and a half hours, providing ample time for instruction and practice. It is suitable for youth aged 12-17 years and is priced at $50, with a discounted rate of $45 for Midland Arts Centre members. All materials except lunch and the T-shirt are provided.
