What to Expect

Sensory Storytime is an inclusive early literacy and social play program aimed at autistic children and children with sensory processing differences. The content is aimed at children 2-5 years old, but children of all ages and all abilities are welcome, and siblings are encouraged to join.

Activity Details

- Join us for a fun and interactive storytime with books, songs, movement and therapeutic sensory play within a small group setting.

- The content of Sensory Storytime is aimed at children 2-5 years old. However, children of all ages and all abilities are welcome, and siblings are encouraged to join.

- Dates: First Tuesday of the month on 4th Feb, 4th March, 1st April, 6th May, 3rd June, 1st July, 5th August, 2nd September, 3rd November and 2nd December. There will be no Sensory Storytime in October.

- Bookings are essential and open approximately one month in advance for each session.

- Please inform library staff of any specific requirements or accommodations needed for your child to participate.

- Bookings are essential. Only children (and their siblings) attending the activity need to be booked in.

- We are unable to accommodate children without a valid ticket.

- All children must have parental supervision.

- If you are unable to attend, please cancel your tickets as soon as possible.

- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.

- Due to the safety and enjoyment of participants, we are unable to admit latecomers to the room after the start time.

- Your ticket can be cancelled by the organiser at any time without further notice.

- Your attendance at events supported by Randwick City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. Images may be used for promotional purposes on council's websites, publications, social media or by newspapers. By attending this session you agree to these terms. If you do not wish your image (or the image of your child) to be published, please notify staff before the event.
