Sensory Storytime (2-5 years)
Join us for a fun and interactive storytime with books, songs, movement and therapeutic sensory play within a small group setting.
What to Expect
Sensory Storytime is an inclusive early literacy and social play program aimed at autistic children and children with sensory processing differences. The program includes a variety of activities such as reading stories, singing songs, playing games, and engaging in sensory play. These activities are designed to help children develop their language, social, and motor skills, as well as their imagination and creativity.
Activity Details
Each session of Sensory Storytime will be led by a qualified librarian who is experienced in working with children with autism and sensory processing differences. The librarian will provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and play. Children will be encouraged to participate in the activities at their own pace and in their own way.
Location and Access
Sensory Storytime will be held at the Margaret Martin Library in Randwick. The library is located on Level 1 of the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre. There is ample parking available at the shopping centre.
