Sensory Storytime offers a warm and engaging environment for children aged 2 to 5 years, especially designed for autistic children and those with sensory processing differences. This interactive session combines books, songs, movement, and therapeutic sensory play to create a fun and supportive experience.
Children of all abilities and ages are welcome, and siblings are encouraged to join, making it a wonderful opportunity for families to connect and enjoy early literacy activities together.
The small group setting ensures personalized attention and a calm atmosphere, perfect for fostering social play and early learning.
The event runs monthly on the fourth Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 am, with upcoming dates including February 23 and March 23, 2026. Each session is free but requires advance booking online through Eventbrite.
Parents are encouraged to inform library staff of any specific needs or accommodations to ensure the best experience for their child. All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian throughout the session.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the session to start promptly and help maintain a smooth flow.
